- Abstract
This thesis concerns the small scale coastal fishery of the southern littoral zone of Sri Lanka targeting mostly Clupeids fish.
Chapter 3 and 4 are a mathematical analysis of this fishery involving a monospecific approach and the usual catch-effort data analysis based on the catch per unit of efforts and its variations.
