- Abstract
The possibility of culturing Holothuria scabra (sandfish) with Penaeus monodon (tiger prawn) was tested in the northwest coast of Sri Lanka from April to August 2012. A pen of 15 x 15 m was constructed inside a shrimp pond and hatchery reared H. scabra juveniles with an average weight of 10±3 g were stocked (1 individual/m2 ) into this pen in early April.
