- Abstract
A shallow, brackish lagoon with some fringing mangroves and an extensive marshy area to the north. The lagoon is connected to the sea by a narrow channel passing under a causeway along the eastern side. It is fed by several small streams and local rainfall, and is seasonally tidal.
