- Abstract
A benthic survey of the Negombo estuary (7o6’ – 7o12’N, 79o49’ – 79o53’E), western coast of Sri Lanka, based on the macro faunal analyses from 37 sampling stations were carried out during 2005. Spatial distribution, diversity of macro benthos and their relationships between physico chemical parameters of the water and sediments were considered during the study.
