Abstract: Serveys for odontocets were conducted from a 9 m sloop, s/rv Tulip (29 Nov 18981-12-February 1982) in the northwest Indian ocean and off the coast of Sri lanka (13 February-17 March 1982, 20 January-24 April 1983,and 22 Feb-25 May1984).
