Abstract

Presence of fecal coliform, E.coli and Salmonella that is harvested from boats is an indication of the pathogenic bacterial contamination of fish. Therefore in order to investigate the pathogenic bacterial contamination of fish landed at Mannar landing sites, fish, water, ice aod swab samples from boats and wadiya were collected. Then those samples were. tested for APC, E.coli, fecal coliform, and salmonella.
